Greater Manchester Creative Health City Region Strategy – Launch event
Greater Manchester has committed to becoming the first city region in the world to realise the power of creativity, culture and heritage in addressing inequities and improving the health and wellbeing of its residents. To guide this exciting commitment, the Greater Manchester Creative Health City Region Strategy was launched on 2nd November 2022.
The launch was an opportunity to learn about current and potential creative health approaches and activities across primary, secondary and social care and be part of the conversation around Greater Manchester’s first ever Creative Health Delivery Plan.
Poet and broadcaster and former University of Manchester Chancellor Lemn Sissay launched the 2022 edition of the Creative Manchester and Centre for New Writing Poetry Competition in partnership with the Great Science Share for Schools.
